Dismissal & redundancy
If your employment has been ended you are likely to be upset and possibly unsure what to do next.
It may be that you have been offered a termination payment or a compromise agreement and need some advice before deciding whether to accept.
If you have been dismissed – or threatened with dismissal – you may have a claim for unfair dismissal or breach of contract. Discrimination may have played a part in your dismissal. You might be entitled to a redundancy payment. You need to know what your options are and what costs are likely to be involved. Above all you need to know that there is an approachable source of clear, practical advice to which you can turn.
At Gardner Leader we advise a wide range of employees who are facing such problems. Where appropriate we can help them to pursue claims in the employment tribunal or the courts. In many cases, we are able to negotiate agreed settlements instead.
As most employment related claims must be started within three months, it is important to take advice without delay.
