David spent over five years in IT Networking Distribution prior to training to become a Solicitor specialising and advising on Wireless LAN Technologies. David has found this grounding in IT invaluable in legal disputes concerning new technologies.

Personal Injury

 

Acts for clients who have suffered personal injury, as a result of negligence from a third party. In particular, he specialises in road traffic accidents and accidents involving horses.

 

Advises and acts for clients who are victims of crime and their claims under the Government's Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme.

 

Corporate / Commercial Disputes

 

Assists and works closely with partner Chris Felton in relation to disputes concerning: 

 

  • Breach of warranty and contractual claims
  • Intellectual Property Disputes
  • Product liability actions in the Technology and Construction Courts

Property Disputes

 

Advises in property disputes, including:

  • Enforcement of Covenants
  • Landlord and Tenant matters in claims for possession and arrears of rent.

Outside the office:

 

David lives locally with his French wife and enjoys family holidays in France. Whilst relaxing at home, he enjoys reading books and articles concerning current affairs, military history, aviation and motor sport. He is a keen supporter of Manchester City FC and still suffers to this day.
