John has over 25 years experience of representing clients in Magistrates Courts for a full range of cases from murder to Trades Description Act prosecutions. He is a Duty Solicitor on the West Berkshire Duty Solicitor Scheme.
Motoring Cases
John frequently represents clients in connection with all motoring offences, including:-
- Driving with excess alcohol
- Speeding
- Driving without due care and attention
He also represents clients facing disqualification as a result of attaining 12 penalty points on their driving licences.
Licensing
John advises clients, including companies, on all aspects of licensing under the Licensing Act 2003 including:
- applications for Premises Licences and Personal Licences. John is co-Chairman of the Joint Consultative Committee of Lawyers in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
