Over 25 years experience of representing clients in Magistrates' Courts for a full range of cases from murder to Trades Description Act prosecutions.
Motoring Offences
Represents clients in connection with all motoring offences, including:
- Driving with excess alcohol
- Speeding
- Driving without due care and attention
- Exceptional hardship arguments to avoid disqualification from driving as a result of attaining 12 penalty points on a driving licence
Licensing
Advises clients, including companies, on all aspects of licensing under the Licensing Act 2003 including:
- Applications for Premises Licences and variations thereof
- Applications for Personal Licences
Current / Past Cases:
Have successfully represented clients on a summons of speeding at 130mph and a charge of driving with excess alcohol, where in both cases the Crown offered no evidence and both cases were dismissed with defence costs awarded. Also represented a client summonsed for driving without due care and attention and speeding, which resulted in the client not having to retake his driving test even though he had only held a driving licence for under two years.
