Law firm Gardner Leader has appointed Michael Beadsworth as a Senior Associate in its Real Estate team, working out of the firm’s Maidenhead office.
Michael brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge, strengthening the firm’s highly skilled real estate team which recently expanded with the merger with Clark Holt, a firm widely recognised as leaders in commercial law.
The latest appointment is part of Gardner Leader’s plan to build for the future.
Partner and head of the real estate team, Greg Humphreys, said: “Michael is part of our long-term plan to continue to build a specialist real estate team that supports the current demand for commercial property advice, demand which is expected to grow in Maidenhead and beyond. It is important that we continue to be recognised for the personal, high standard of service our clients currently enjoy.”
As well as holding an MBA, Michael’s 30-year career spans across a range of real estate services including property purchases and disposals, setting up development sites, leases, and portfolio management, with several transactions involving hotels and public houses.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael worked in-house for a major UK charity and has acted across a range of complex matters including land sales for development worth over £30 million and on substantial property holdings.
Derek Rodgers, managing partner at Gardner Leader said: “We are delighted to welcome Michael to our growing team in Maidenhead. His broad experience, skill and knowledge are exemplary, and will bring further skills to the team and support in enabling us to guide our clients through all aspects of their real estate needs.”
Greg added: “Michael has a wealth of experience in exactly the kind of work we are looking to build across the real estate team and specifically in our Maidenhead office. Michael will have the opportunity to work closely with all our team and get to know our clients and contacts across the firm.”
Gardner Leader has six branches in the South-East in Newbury, Thatcham, Maidenhead, London, Swindon, and Windsor.
