IT was probably inevitable that Judith Rountree would become a solicitor.
She was born into a legal family in Northern Ireland; growing up in Belfast surrounded by her county court judge grandfather and a gaggle of lawyer uncles. It is clearly in the blood – her sister is also a respected barrister in Northern Ireland.
And it was family that also led her to West Berkshire, after she married a man from Thatcham.
“I was inspired by my family, who all worked in the legal profession,” the 30-year-old says.
“I ended up in litigation because I really enjoy learning tactics to find a settlement and to help people reach that settlement.
“I try to take on the worries for my clients and to meet all their demands and needs. It can be a very emotionally driven subject.”
