Javeria Tahir joined Gardner Leader in 2018 and went on to complete her training with the firm, qualifying February 2021.
It is okay if you do not have an answer, the purpose of the training is to challenge you to find the solution. A Partner once told me that there would most likely be a situation, even at their position, where you will not have an answer, but letting the client know that you will consider their question provides you with the opportunity to research and respond to them with accurate information.
The support I received whilst working as a paralegal strengthened my decision to continue my training at Gardner Leader. I wanted to train at a firm that would take the time and offer support no matter what position they held or how busy they were, and I got exactly that throughout my training.
In my final year of A-Levels, many of the Universities I applied for highlighted that studying law would offer the opportunity to develop a range of skills, which were transferrable in whatever career path I decided to take and studying law at University reinforced my desire to pursue law further.
Making time for self-care, it is easy to get lost in the noise of what is going on around us that we often forget to take time to unwind and focus on ourselves. This past year I have learnt to do things I enjoy doing but most of all taking the time to relax.
It is difficult to choose only one film; I am a big Harry Potter fan so would select all the Harry Potter films.
A professional chocolate taster, it would be amazing to eat chocolate all day.
To learn calligraphy, there is something captivating about watching people create videos of their calligraphy and so beautiful to see their artwork. It would be remarkable to create something so beautiful.
