The big bad wolves of Gardner Leader get muddy in Leicestershire

So on Sunday, while you were all still snoozing in your warm cosy beds, Stuart Durrant, Chris Dale, Sam Pinder and I drove two hours to Leicestershire to take part in the Wolf Run.

I think its fair to say that we all underestimated the event and thought it would be the usual 10km run in the countryside with a few obstacles thrown in. The reality was somewhat different. 25 obstacles, runs through lakes, two swims (I wussed out of these) and mud like you can never imagine. One participant went down with hypothermia, another sustained a nasty head injury and another dislocated his shoulder and that was only in our wave. I am still feeling slightly traumatised by the whole thing and glad to have survived. On the plus side, I think I might now have qualified to join the Marines.
