Late Adulthood

We are here to support you throughout your late adulthood life stage. From looking to downsize to managing your estate plan effectively, we will give you advice that you can trust at every step of the way.

Ready to downsize

If you are now an empty nester or looking to downsize our conveyancing team will be here to assist you with your conveyancing in buying and selling.

Estate plan

Your Will should always reflect your wishes and your current circumstance. If you have had a child or a grandchild you should not assume that they will be included as a beneficiary because other children or grandchildren are mentioned. Our team can help you update your Will to ensure your estate will be distributed effectively.

The payment of long term care is an important consideration. We can advise you on making provision for those costs in your Will to best protect the value of your estate. If you become incapable of making decisions and have not drawn up a lasting power of attorney (or an enduring power of attorney), an application will need to be made to the Court of Protection for a deputy to be appointed. This would allow someone to make day-to-day decisions for you, most commonly relating to your property and financial affairs. We can provide guidance and assist your loved ones with an application to the Court of Protection if required.

If you wish to enquire about either our conveyancing services we can offer you or you wish to receive expert guidance in managing your estate plan including your Will and long term care regarding your late adulthood.
