Judith Rountree has been crowned Young Lawyer of the Year at this year’s LawNet awards, the national, industry body and standard for independent law firms.
The Young Lawyer of the Year award category was open to solicitors with less than five years post qualification experience.
Aged 30 with four years post qualification experience, Judith was chosen winner out of other young hopefuls that entered this year because of her determination to succeed and advanced legal skills – qualities that have helped her to win complex contentious probate cases.
Her strong communication skills and the compassion and commitment she shows her clients were also highlighted as winning attributes along with her innovation in business development. Since joining Gardner Leader in September 2009, Judith has developed a new fixed fee programme to help Landlords and Tenants involved in property litigation whilst her work in the charity sector has seen her attract and retain some of the largest charity clients the firm has ever represented.
Well done from all the team at Gardner Leader.
