LawNet Awards – Law Firm of the Year


The team at  Gardner Leader are celebrating once again after being crowned Law Firm of the Year at the major national LawNet awards on 11 November 2016.

LawNet’s Law Firm of the Year award attracts entrants from all over the UK. This year, applicants had to provide evidence of a clear, strategic business growth plan, to demonstrate their commitment to client care and employee engagement, and they had to provide proof of sustainable improvement in financial performance.

Gardner Leader delivered strong evidence on all counts including a clear five year growth plan and figures to show how turnover has almost doubled in the last six years thanks to its continuous expansion. In two years, the firm has expanded its teams in all three offices, with its Maidenhead team approaching twice the size it was when they acquired it in October 2014.

Gardner Leader was also awarded for enhancing the client experience through its ongoing change programme, ‘Evolve’, which, together with its Talent Management programme, has also further strengthened the motivation and skill within its teams.

On presenting the award to the firm, Lawnet said, “Gardner Leader has a clear plan for success based on a combination of organic growth, strategic alliances and acquisition, and as a result is recording year on year impressive growth. Derek Rodgers, Managing Partner, collected the award.
