A group of 9 Gardner Leader team members from across the Newbury and Maidenhead offices took on the annual LawNet challenge on Saturday (14 July). This year the mission was to climb the Yorkshire Three Peaks made up of Pen-y-ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres). These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
This is the 10th anniversary of the LawNet challenge and Jo Barton, Partner and Head of Inheritance Protection, has completed all 10.
Jo said “A team from GL enjoy taking part in the LawNet challenge every year. LawNet organize the walk usually in Snowdonia or the Lakes but this year the Yorkshire 3 Peaks was probably the hardest of them all. The weather was hot and the pace unrelenting to complete 25 miles and 3 peaks within 12 hours.”
Most of the team completed the challenge within 12 hours and all made it back into work the following Monday!
