Shareholder & Partnership Agreements

If you are starting out in business with one or more partners or shareholders, then the chances are that they are people whom you work well with, and that you share very similar approaches and business objectives to.

It is important that a Shareholder or Partnership Agreement is made in the early phases of a business, when parties are most likely to be in consensus. In the absence of any such agreement further down the line, you would have to rely on the Companies Act or the Partnership Act to resolve any legal issues which may arise, which could result in conclusions which go against the ethos of the business.
