"Very satisfied with the way my business was handled if only other companies could be as efficient"Client of Jade Taylor
Jade is a Solicitor at Gardner Leader in the Inheritance Protection team.
After completing her Degree in English, Jade went on to study her Post-Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the University of the West of England, Bristol.
After working several years in our Conveyancing department, Jade gained experience in dispute resolution and commercial property before qualifying as a Solicitor in the Inheritance Protection team.
Since joining the Inheritance Protection Team, Jade has helped clients who wish to instruct Gardner Leader for their Wills to ensure that their wishes are achieved as best as possible as well as considering the effects that Inheritance Tax may have on their estates.
Jade has also assisted clients with Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA), advising clients on their uses and preferences and instructions that can be included to tailor the document to the client’s needs. If capacity of a loved one prevents them from making an LPA, Jade is able to advise and assist clients as to alternative options, such as a Court of Protection application for a Deputyship Order.
Jade has assisted clients wishing to amend trusts and distribute trust asset whilst advising on the options available and the relevant tax implications to be considered, as well as other estate related matters.
Jade can offer support and guidance to clients in relation to the administration of an estate, the steps that need to be taken and other matters that arise both during someone’s lifetime and when someone passes away. Aside from Inheritance tax, Jade has experience dealing with estates that require an understanding of Income tax and Capital Gains Tax.
Jade has been involved with the Thatcham Dementia Forum (a local organisation working with local businesses) and has been helping the Thatcham Office become Dementia friendly, helping to increase Dementia awareness in the local area.
Jade Taylor qualified in 2017.
