Harry is a highly experienced disputes lawyer. In addition to a broad commercial litigation practice, he is regularly instructed in privacy and defamation disputes. Harry is also a leading gambling and sports regulatory lawyer.
Harry’s commercial disputes work ranges from shareholder and partnership disputes to contentious insolvency and civil fraud. He regularly represents commercial clients across various industries in contract disputes.
Harry advises individuals and businesses on pre and post publication libel issues and reputation management generally. He acted for a number of high-profile victims of phone hacking in their breach of privacy claims against MGN and NGN titles and is an experienced defamation adviser.
In sport Harry is primarily known for his work in the world of horseracing where he acts for leading jockeys, trainers, owners and institutions in a wide range of contentious matters both in court and before various regulatory tribunals. In gambling he acts for both high-rolling punters and independent bookmakers across all relevant areas from gambling contract disputes to the provision of regulatory and applicable criminal law advice.
