James Fox is a highly experienced technology lawyer with extensive experience advising clients on small, medium, and high-value commercial contracts across various sectors, including government, technology, retail, and general outsourcing. As a Partner in Gardner Leader’s Business team, James specializes in software and information technology law, with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence.
James spent five years as senior in-house counsel at outsourcing firm Capita, where he focused on contract restructuring and relationship management. During his tenure at Capita, he served as both a lawyer and commercial lead, assisting with compliance and advising on complex legal matters.
James advises on, drafts, and reviews a wide range of commercial agreements and terms, including SaaS, distribution, sale and purchase, outsourcing, collaboration, and settlement agreements.
