We have discovered that someone is attempting to impersonate Gardner Leader, sending letters pretending to be from us. This is a scam which we have reported to the SRA.
The letter carries a logo similar to ours, has our London office address, and purports to be from a Senior Associate named ‘Philip Harvey’, concerning an inheritance from the estate of George Augustus Merewether. We have no such client. We have been alerted to this by someone who had received the letter and wanted to know if it was genuine.
