Make a secure payment at a time to suit you

There are a variety of simple and secure methods for you to choose from. You can make payments online at your convenience, pay by bank transfer, by phone or in person.  We also have a range of ways to pay if you are based overseas.  We’ve made it easy for you to make payments at a time and in a way that suits you best.

What you’ll need for any payment

Whichever method you choose, you’ll need the unique reference number which you can find on the top right of your bill near the date and bill number.

We can’t carry out work until outstanding payments are received: if you are in a hurry for work to proceed, see below for the quickest way to pay as some methods of payment take longer to clear than others.

By Bank Transfer

Bank Transfer is the preferred method payment and funds will typically reach us immediately. Login to your online banking service then quote our sort code and account number, as well as your reference number. Our bank account name for receiving payments is ‘Gardner Leader LLP’. Any variations to the account name may cause issues in the banking system and a delay to your payment being received. Please contact the Finance team if you do not have the information you need, or require assistance.

Pay online

You can pay your bill online via debit or credit card (except American Express) using your invoice reference number.

Pay Your Invoice Online

We use the services of Legl to process your payment securely. Payments are processed using the highest security standards to encrypt your details and keep your personal data safe. When you click ‘pay online’ you will be redirected to Legl’s payments portal where your payment will be taken. You will receive immediate email confirmation following a successful payment.

By phone

Payments made by debit and credit card will take three working days to process into our bank account. To make a payment over the phone call our finance team on 01635 508183. Please have your reference number handy.

We do not accept American Express.

In person

With your reference number to hand our reception colleagues will be able to take payment from you by card, or in cash for values under £500.

International payments

If you need our IBAN and BIC details, please contact our Finance team.

Exceptions to card payments

We cannot accept card payments for some funds required for property purchase completions. Please contact us for more information.
