- Advising the investment fund established by a European pharmaceutical company on the provision of multi-million debt financing to life science companies.
- Acting on trademark infringement and passing off disputes in the healthcare, skincare and non-surgical aesthetics sectors.
- Acting in relation to a dispute with UK Border Force over the need for an import permit under CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora).
- Advising the founders of an antibody company on the spin out of intellectual property to form a new business.
- Advising the Oxford Academic Health Science Centre on suitable legal structures. OAHSC is made up of Oxford Brookes University, Oxford Health NHS Trust, OUH and the University of Oxford.
- Acting in relation to an international dispute involving an ICC arbitration between parties in France, USA and the UK, relating to the supply and manufacture of pharmaceuticals.
- Advising the selling shareholders of Absolute Antibody Ltd, a specialist in recombinant antibodies on the sale of the group to a US private equity firm.
- Advising the UK subsidiary of a French animal health company on commercial matters, including intra-group contractual arrangements, the format of and terms and conditions for sales promotions and contractual arrangements with veterinary clinic groups for the sale of OTC and prescription products.
- Advising the UK subsidiary of a German pharmaceutical company on contractual matters, both on the pharmaceutical and animal health sides including manufacturing agreements, distribution and logistics agreements.
