Leading regional law firm Gardner Leader has reinforced its long-term commitment to Maidenhead with a significant investment in new landmark offices in The Pearce Building to support its future growth in the Thames Valley and across the south of England.
With a rising regional demand for Gardner Leader’s specialist law services the firm will be relocating to premises around fifty per cent larger than its current Maidenhead office to provide additional capacity, as well as new facilities for its clients and employees.
This latest investment is part of Gardner Leader’s ongoing growth and commitment to Maidenhead since it first started operating in the town in 2014, with two new Partners also joining its Real Estate team in the summer. The firm’s experienced legal team provides strategic advice across nine specialist practice areas, ranging from business law, disputes and property law to family and private client work, including estate planning and trusts.
In June, the firm also achieved Certified B Corporation™ status, recognising its commitment to high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. The new workspace/building has strong environmental credentials and public transport links, while supporting employee wellbeing and responsible business practices.
Greg Humphreys, Partner, and Head of the Real Estate Team, Gardner Leader, said: “The move from our office in Frascati Way to The Pearce Building in West Street is a significant milestone. As Gardner Leader continues to grow, we wanted a town centre location that would support our ambitions while providing the best possible facilities and excellent transport links for clients and employees.”
Tim Blackman, Partner in the Real Estate team, added: “Around 40 team members will initially be based at our new office and we’ll now be ready to expand to over 60 employees in Maidenhead alone, alongside our other offices in Newbury, Thatcham, Swindon, Oxford and London.”
Derek Rodgers, Managing Partner, Gardner Leader said: “Our move to The Pearce Building demonstrates our long-term commitment to Maidenhead, its businesses and the wider community. We’ve built strong relationships here over many years and see the town as an important part of Gardner Leader’s future.
“This investment reflects our confidence in the local economy, our clients and people. We’re looking forward to strengthening existing relationships, building new connections and continuing to support the thriving business community across Maidenhead and the wider region.
“This move has also been made possible by our Real Estate team, led by Greg and Tim, who have supported our growth journey in Maidenhead and also handled the transaction for us.”
Gardner Leader will move to its new Maidenhead offices at the start of October.
