Stephanie is a Paralegal in our Dispute Resolution Team.
After completing the PGDL with BPP University, Steph is currently studying for a global master’s in international Sports Law with ISDE University (Madrid).
Steph has previously worked in the sports eco-system, navigating contracts with agents and commercial partners and developing service level agreements for over a decade. Steph has personally been through the Sports Resolution Appeal Pathway, having had her Notice of Appeal successfully upheld twice and returned for a fresh decision.
Most recently, Steph has been sign-posting athletes to the right of appeal for selection disputes or disciplinary procedures and has handled welfare matters and safeguarding concerns as a former Safeguarding officer of a football club, with her passion to create compliance and raise the minimum standards in this field. From handling disciplinary matters regarding possible misconduct to advocacy within the sport of athletics and football, Steph hopes to continue to strengthen her background to advice and offer her experience in sport, whilst developing her commercial knowledge to protect personal and professional business interests. Steph also has a keen interest in developing her skill set in domestic and international arbitration.
Having been a former professional athlete in the sport of athletics, Steph enjoys ensuring to stay active outdoors, by way of signing up to a new challenge or frequenting a local park run. Having recently dabbled with picking up tennis and golf, she ensures to keep up her competitive nature outside of the office, whilst making time to prioritise social with friends and family.
