Lauren is an Associate Solicitor in our Family Team.
Lauren studied law at Coventry University, and the LPC course at the University of Law in Birmingham. Lauren trained at a large regional law firm, obtaining experience in conveyancing and private client, before qualifying as a solicitor in April 2019. Since then, Lauren has worked for a firm specialising in family law, and high street firm before joining Gardner Leader in August 2025. Lauren has a particular interest in dealing with the financial aspects of a relationship breakdown but is experienced in dealing with a range of family law issues, such as issues surrounding domestic abuse, cohabitation disputes and issues relating to children. Lauren is a member of Resolution and is committed to dealing with matters amicably and pragmatically.
Work highlights
- Obtaining the transfer of the family home to a client whose spouse had addiction issues, within financial remedy proceedings.
- Successfully arguing that pre-matrimonial wealth should be excluded from the matrimonial pot and not shared on divorce.
- Obtaining a positive child arrangements order for a parent who was subject to several allegations, and had previously not been allowed to see their child.
- Obtaining an injunction and full costs order for a client whose spouse had been arrested and charged with several offences.
- Assisting with cases involving a well known global company, a large property development company and a family farming business.
