Richard Buckeridge is a Consultant in the Real Estate Team and is based in the Maidenhead Office.
Richard is a specialist Real Estate lawyer as recommended in the Legal 500 2018-2019 listings and has been advising businesses both nationally and internationally for over thirty years.
Richard is also the former senior partner of Heath Buckeridge Solicitors Limited which has merged with the practice in 2014. He also specialises in business acquisitions and disposals, companies, partnerships, joint ventures, employment and contractual and commercial property matters of all kinds. His early experience of general practice in the fields of private client (with particular reference to trusts, Wills and inheritance tax) and litigation, family work and property enables Richard to give rounded and complete advice in his specialist areas.

Richard is a ‘key contact’ among Real Estate recommended lawyers according to Legal 500 (2017). His main practice areas are property-related work including sales and purchases, property regulatory and advisory work, property investment and management, property development, leases and property-related commercial contracts. He advises a number of high net worth individuals, property developers and investors, hospitality companies, business space providers, multinationals, government authorities and academic institutions.
Richard handles a wide range of Real Estate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, secured lending work, property management and landlord-tenant matters.
Charity Law
Richard is a member of the Charity team and advises a number of charity clients on all property related matters. Much of his work in this regard relates to assisting with the management of the properties from which a large charity trades. He is a committee member of Marlow Regatta, a school governor and a trustee of several local charities.
Richard is a well-respected philanthropist in the local community who understands the legal issues that affects charities from the trustees’ point of view. Richard provides pro-bono advice to a number of local charities including the ‘Rivertime Trust’.
