Gardner Leader has advised Contengo Limited, the specialist provider of technology solutions for financial advisers, on its acquisition by FE fundinfo, a leading global funds data and technology business.
The transaction will see Contengo’s award‑winning solutions integrated into FE fundinfo’s Nexus platform, enhancing Nexus’s end‑to‑end capabilities for independent financial advisers (IFAs). The combined offering is expected to streamline client onboarding, suitability, and ongoing advice processes, enabling IFAs to deliver more efficient, compliant, and client‑centred services.
The Gardner Leader team was led by Partner, Sally Addis and Senior Associate, Lewis Harvey. Gravita advised the shareholders on the tax and accounting matters of the transaction. Burness Paull advised FE Fund Info.
