Vicky is a Trainee Solicitor in the Residential Property team.
Vicky joined Gardner Leader in 2018 working in the Residential Property team. She studied Law at the University of Exeter and she went on to complete her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Guildford achieving a Distinction.
Since starting her Training Contract, Vicky has undertaken a seat in Inheritance Protection and Dispute Resolution and has now started her final seat in the Residential Property team.
Vicky assisted the Inheritance Protection team in a variety of matters including preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and the registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney. Vicky also has experience with administering estates, completing Inheritance Tax returns and making applications for Grants of Probate.
Vicky has experience with trust work including dealing with the retirement and appointment of trustees.
Vicky assisted the Disputes Resolution team on contentious probate matters including Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 claims and disputes arising during the administration of estates. Vicky also has experience in challenging the validity of wills.
Vicky is now in her final seat assisting the Residential Property team on a range of matters including sales and purchases, as well as remortgages and transfers of equity for both freehold and leasehold properties.
