Gardner Leader has acted for Pontrilas Group on its sale to Glennon Brothers, an international timber group.
Founded in 1947, Pontrilas Group is one of the UK’s leading independent sawmill and packaging businesses, with its mill being the largest timber processing facility in England and Wales. Employing over 530 people, the business is led by a highly experienced, long-serving management team and generates a turnover of approximately £120m.
The Gardner Leader team was led by Corporate Partner, Philip Humphreys, supported by Bonnie Jackson. Specialist support was provided by Real Estate Partners, Karron Whitter and Joanna Bullard; and Commercial Partner, Peter James.
