Guiding peaceful resolutions through mediation
All our lawyers are members of Resolution and follow a Code of Practice that promotes a constructive approach encouraging families to put the best interests of children first. At the outset, we’ll take time to understand any particular concerns you have and how best to approach child arrangements.
Mediation is often the first option. An independent mediator will ensure that the discussion remains focused on agreed issues and where appropriate can involve your children as well. If mediation is not successful, or not appropriate, our lawyers will discuss how to proceed in your circumstances. In order to minimise stress, time and cost, where possible, we will help you to reach an agreement directly with your ex-partner, or their solicitor, without needing to apply to Court.
